Its been too fast
2009
Saturday, 21 February
Its been a hectic two and a half months away from home.
But being back again still feels great!
Student Life Camp
Jon, Jerusha and myself took a day trip to Anglesea to check out the combined student life camp.
The trip to the camp site was pretty tiring as all of us probably only had about four hours of sleep the night before.
I even attempted to wake up at 5 am so that I can walk to Boxhill from Doncaster and had breakfast before meeting Jon and jerusha at 8. But that didn't happen as it was pouring when I woke up. So instead I got out of bed at 6 and caught buses to meet the rest. Poor Jon who had to drive all the way there and back to Melbourne. Thanks Jon, appreciate it mate.
The camp kinda made me realise that God is truly moving amongst all of us regardless if we're part of his plan. I've understood that God has given us the opportunities to be part of his movement here on Earth, but it is out decision to take up the many opportunities that we may encounter.
I've yet to learn to seize every opportunity that God has allowed me to have and make the most out of it.

I came home after the day trip and I decided to jump on Isaac's blog to have a read. And to my amazement he has finally uploaded pictures and created a special post for the mission trip to Thailand we had early on this year.
As I read his post, he reminds us all about the sponsored child that Grace, Haney, Isaac and myself share a month to cover her daily expenses merely with $44AUD.
It came to my mind that the night when we said goodbye to her, she did not realise that she wasn't going to see us again after having to get to know us better almost every single day for 3-4 days.
Imagine how a six year old would've felt when she finds out that the people (us) that has brought her so many presents and poured out so much love on her within a short period were not going to be there anymore the next day...
I really felt her pain when I thought about it... that made me tear alittle.
I really want to go back and visit her again.
Just look at her in the back with her palms on the window... it seems like she is reaching out towards us...
We love her.
